Mayor Lomax Smith opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M. Council Member Truitt opened meeting with a prayer. Mayor Smith and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
* Cottonwood Rescue used 2,000 gallons of water for the month of October.
*Discussed the Bank.
*Discussed Five Star Credit Union.
*Discussed Inland opening this month.
*Discussed light post for a project for the sidewalks.
There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Hamilton made a motion to adjourn the meeting. A second by Council Member Adams and the meeting was adjourned at 6:03 P.M.

Mayor Smith opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M. Council Member Coachman opened the meeting with a prayer. Mayor Smith and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Any Comments from the Council: None
Council Member Truitt made a motion to waive the reading of the minutes from the last meetings on Sept. 20, workshop on Oct. 04, and to approve them as presented. There was a second by Council Member Coachman Truitt and the motion was approved unanimously.
September financial reports were presented to the Council by the Town Clerk, Augusta Habron. Council Member Adams made a motion to approve the reports as presented. A second by Council Member Truitt and the motion was approved unanimously.
Fire Chief was absent so Nick Cole presented September report to the Council. Total of 14 call and approximately 50,000 gallons of water was used.
Chief Smith presented September report to the Council. Calls of service 312, reports written 4, traffic warnings issued 103, traffic citations issued 22. Arrests made 13, traffic warrants 6, drug arrests 1, felonies 1, misdemeanors 5 and auxiliary hours 35.
Request to except a new Auxiliary Police Officer, Justin Wade Henderson. Council Member Hamilton made a motion to except Justin Wade Henderson as our new Auxiliary Police Officer. A second by Council Member Coachman and the motion was approved unanimously.
Request to except the Budget for 2012. Council Member Adams made a motion to except the Budget for 2012. A second by Council Member Truitt and the motion was approved unanimously.
Request to have the trees at Black Bottom cut. Council Member Weaver made a motion to except the request to cut the trees at Black Bottom. A second by Council Member Adams and the motion was approved unanimously.
Request to purchase an Ice Machine that makes 400 lb of ice a day for the amount of $1,800.00. Council Member Truitt made a motion to purchase the Ice Machine for the amount of $1,800.00. A second by Council Member Adams and the motion was approved unanimously.
Request for the Fire Department to purchase the light bar for the fire truck that was hit by lightening for $1,090.00 and an extra light bar for the fire truck that is in the bay for the amount of $400.00. Council Member Hamilton made a motion to purchase the light bar for $1,090.00 and the extra light bar for $400.00. A second by Council Member Coachman and the motion was approved unanimously.
Request for Sun Valley Market & Deli Store #635 to purchase an Off-Premise Beer & Wine license. Council Member Truitt made a motion for Sun Valley Market & Deli Store #635 to purchase an Off Premise Beer & Wine license. A second by Council Member Adams and the motion was approved unanimously.
Discussion of the purchase of the Bank. After discussion of purchasing the bank for the amount of $150,000.00 for 20 years for a fixed interest rate of 3.141%. Council Member Coachman made a motion to purchase the bank for the amount of $150,000.00 for 20 years for a fixed interest rate of 3.141%. A second by Council Member Weaver and the motion was approved unanimously.
There being no further business to come before this meeting, there was a motion by Council Member Truitt made a motion to adjourn the meeting. A second by Council Member Weaver and the meeting was adjourned at 6:13 P.M.

Mayor Lomax Smith opened the meeting at 6:00 P. M. Council Member Hamilton opened meeting with a prayer. Mayor Smith and the Council led in the Pledge of Allegiance.
* Cottonwood Rescue used 2,500 gallons of water for the month of September.
* Representative Mr. Paul Lee received a general grant and divided between several Seniors Citizen in the County and presented a check to the Cottonwood Seniors Citizens for the amount of $1,915.37. To except the check was The Town of Cottonwood Seniors Director Anita Kirkland, on the behalf of The Cottonwood Seniors Citizens we would like to express our apparition.
* James Whitehead discussed the Town of Cottonwood budget everything looks good.
*Discuss keeping the grass and weeds cut the Cottonwood Cemetery. And any donation will be put in a Cottonwood Cemetery account. All expenses will be paid out of this account. We will take at least three bids on the grass cutting and clean up on the cemetery.
*Discuss two new Auxiliary Police Officers Justin Wade Henderson & Curtis Demond Smith.
* Discussion on Cottonwood Canal ditch getting cleaned up by the County if all land owners sign an easement so the County can go down the ditches. Hopefully they will be starting at Phillips to Pine tree to South Co. Rd55 to Grove to Cottonwood Hwy 53.
*Discuss cutting the tree at Black Bottom property.
*Discuss purchasing a 400 pound Ice Machine for $1,800.00.
*Discussed the Bank.
*Discuss Light bar for the Fire Truck.
*Check Lights on Cottonwood Signs.
*Fire Chief Mims discussed purchasing 2 light bars.
*Discussion of Park.
*Discuss Fire Plugs.
*Maps on Water Lines.
